Accomodations

For members who wish to stay overnight, SCOH provides several convenient options.

The gliderport includes an RV Park with 12 motorhome/trailer sites, with six sites complete with 30 amp electrical service and water. The remaining six sites will be completed as demand dictates. A central Waste Dump is located on the premises, just to the south of the new clubhouse. The RV park is for the use of all members, no advance sign up is needed. The nightly fee is only $5.00. Pay envelopes are in the FOO Room in the Club house. Monthly rates are also available. Contact Randy Hollenberg with further questions, 281-414-8870.

In addition to the RV Park, the new clubhouse (well underway, expected completion Fall 2008) will have two multi-purpose/bunkrooms for club members who wish to spend the night. Showers and a kitchen are included in the clubhouse, making for a comfortable way to spend a weekend.

Come on out and enjoy the flying during the day and the peaceful countryside in the evenings. After an eventful day of flying, join your fellow members sitting on the porch, shooting the breeze, drinking a cold one, and watching the sun go down.
